Welcome to GNU Help. We are a group of network
architects, designers, developers, and admins who specialize in Open
Source software. There are Open Source solutions for pretty much
any task, and since GNU software
includes the code which builds the program, it can be easily
customized, bugs can be fixed by any user with the right skills, and
malicious code can't be included in the program without notice. Because
of this, there are many more people involved in the development of
certain Open Source applications worldwide than most companies would have a
budget for, and an entire Internet community to do QA. The end result
is much more stable and robust software, with immediate bug fixes. This
is especially usefull for startups and small companies who are on a
limited budget, and don't want to shell out enormous amounts of money
in licensing fees.
Our goal is to provide support for anybody interested in using free
Open Source software with documentation, links, chat, forums, as well
as professional services. We will be adding technical papers and
FAQ's as time permits. If you have any suggestions, questions, or
would like to contribute in any way, drop us a note in "Contact Us".
